A BBQ self-serve buffet will be provided. It will include cheeseburger sliders, hot dogs, pasta salad, Caesar salad, chips, dessert, iced tea, and a cash bar.
The cash bar will offer soda, beer, wine, and spirits. It will accept cash only; no credit cards. An ATM machine is available in the Holiday Inn. Drink prices include bartender’s fee and tax. Gratuity is not included.
The Lighthouse invites all FLA members to enjoy a night climb on Friday between 6:00 pm EDT and 8:00 pm EDT. Please Register
On Saturday, our membership and annual meeting will start at 9:00 AM EDTin the Flagler Room at the Holiday Inn St. Augustine – Historic. A self-serve buffet lunch, catered by the Holiday Inn,will be offered at 11:30 AM EDT. The lunch will consist of grilled chicken with lemon sauce, barbecue salmon, garden salad, oven-roasted potatoes, green beans, rolls and butter, dessert, water, tea, and coffee.
After lunch, attendees are invited to drive the 3.35 miles to the Lighthouse (GPS address: 100 Red Cox Dr., St. Augustine, FL 32080) to climb the tower and explore and enjoy the other buildings and exhibits on the grounds.
Attendees can visit the Lighthouse at any time during the weekend. It is open from 9 a.m. EDT to 6 p.m. EDT. FLA members have free access to the Lighthouse by presenting their FLA membership card at either register in the visitor center or by presenting their meeting attendee badge, which will be available for pick-up at the check-in desk for the social and membership meeting.
PARKING AND ACCESSIBILITY POLICIES
Parking is free.
The main gravel lot outside the Visitor Center is your first option.
Additional parking is available by the Lighthouse Park tennis courts, and to the south along Red Cox Drive behind R.B. Hunt Elementary School.

WHAT TO SEE AND DO IN THE AREA
In addition to the Lighthouse, attendees are also encouraged to visit the many interesting sites and activities in St. Augustine, some of which are noted below.
St. George Street—St. George Street is the heart of St. Augustine, lined with quaint shops, cozy bistros, art galleries, and gift shops. This pedestrians-only street gives you a feel for what life was like when the Old City was first settled, but it’s only the beginning. Explore what’s off the main drag of St. George Street when visiting St. Augustine.
San Sebastian Winery—Offers free tours and daily tastings of their superb wines. Open Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. EDT– 6 p.m. EDT and Sunday, 11 a.m. EDT – 6 p.m. EDT 157 King Street; Tel (904) 826-1594 or 1-888-352-9463.
Ponce de Leon’s Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park—Visit America’s First Colony. Founded by Pedro Menendez on THIS ACTUAL SITE 42 years before Jamestown and 55 years before Plymouth Rock. Castillo de San Marcos National Monument—Visit the oldest masonry fort in the U. S. and the only standing 17th century military construction. It is also one of two forts built of coquina, a soft limestone composed of broken shells. 1 South Castillo Dr.; Tel. (904) 829-6506.
Lightner Museum—An iconic building in the heart of historic St. Augustine. An extraordinary museum collection. Occupying the former Hotel Alcazar, a Gilded Age resort hotel commissioned by railroad magnate Henry Flagler, the Museum offers an immersive experience of art, architecture, history, and design. Current members, new members, and their young lighthouse keepers (15 and younger) can choose options that best meet their busy schedules as well as save them money.
These options include FULL WEEKEND (Friday social and barbecue AND the Saturday meeting and buffet lunch), SATURDAY ONLY (meeting and buffet lunch), or FRIDAY ONLY (social and barbecue; NIGHT CLIMB of the St. Augustine Lighthouse to see the gorgeous surroundings of the city under the glow of the rising moon; and the opportunity for discounted EARLY-BIRD RATES if registration is completed by Friday, October 13 (midnight).
Note: NIGHT CLIMB: All night climbers must sign up in advance at registration for this option and check in with the FLA rep at the Lighthouse door. This option is available only to FULL WEEKEND and FRIDAY ONLY registrants.

VIRTUAL REGISTRATION FEE
Members have the option of attending the membership meeting virtually via ZOOM. A link will be e-mailed to registrants before the meeting. The cost for this option will be $12 for members and non-members. The registration cut-off is Friday, October 27. No early bird discount is offered to ZOOM registrants.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
To cancel your meeting registration and receive a full refund, you must submit an e-mail to FLA (Info@FloridaLighthouses.org) by October 20, the registration cut-off date. The refund will be made regardless of the reason.
FLA’s new policy, effective with the current meeting, is that after the registration cutoff date, it will make no refunds for registration fees regardless of the reason. There will be no exceptions.
FLA is a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization and must generate sufficient funds to cover the costs that it must pay to its service and product providers after the cutoff.
SERVICE ANIMALS AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS
The Florida Lighthouse Association’s policy only allows service animals at its events, as required under Titles II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). Emotional support animals are not protected by the ADA and will not be allowed entrance to its events. These animals, therefore, are excluded from the membership meeting and social.
